Welcome to the Fontfabric Affiliate Program! By clicking “I agree” (or a similar verification box) during your sign-up process, or by continuing to access and participate in our affiliate network, you legally accept and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
This Agreement is established between Fontfabric (inclusive of its global affiliates, “we,” “our,” or “us”) and You (either an individual acting on your own behalf or the legal corporate entity you represent, “Affiliate,” “Partner,” or “you”). If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an employer or organization, you warrant that you hold full legal authority to bind that entity.
1. Key Definitions
1.1. Partner / Affiliate: an individual or entity who has fulfilled the registration requirements and received official validation to serve as a Partner for promoting Fontfabric.
1.2. Approved Site: the particular digital domain, social network profile, or marketing outlet officially disclosed by the Partner and subsequently validated by Fontfabric for the deployment and maintenance of unique tracking Links.
1.3. Affiliate Link / Link: The unique, tracked URL or code provided by Fontfabric to the Partner to identify customer referrals.
1.4. Platform: Fontfabric’s software-as-a-service e-commerce system, console, or reporting interface used to manage campaigns and track metrics.
1.5. Commission: Remuneration due to the Partner in respect of verified, non-fraudulent sales of Fonfrabric’s font software and digital typefaces.
1.6. Approved Transaction: A customer transaction that has been officially validated and approved by Fontfabric.
1.7. Customer: An individual or entity who purchases, applies for, or licenses Fontfabric assets through an Affiliate Link.
1.2 Enrollment and Discretion
1.2.1. To enroll in the Program, you must submit a complete and accurate Affiliate Program application via our designated registration form on the Fontfabric website available on the following link: https://www.fontfabric.com/affiliate-signup/
1.2.2. All submitted Affiliate Program Applications are reviewed and evaluated by Fontfabric based on the following criteria: domain age, reputation, and relevance, traffic volume, and active social media presence. Fontfabric reserves the absolute right to approve or reject such applications based on the evaluation of the listed criteria. As an example, and without being binding on Fontfabric, for an application to have a chance of being approved, it must meet at least the following criteria:
Authority and relevance:
Tier 1 – DA 50+ – Design / Typography / Branding
Tier 2 – DA 30-49 – Designadjacent (creative tools, branding, marketing)
Tier 3 – 20-29 – Must be directly relevant to typography or design
Тraffic volume: 10 000 page views and above
Аctive social media presence: Followers above 500 by network
1.2.3. Upon selection Partners are given access to the Affiliate Platform where they can manage their campaigns, get affiliate links and creatives, track metrics, commissions and payments.
1.2.4. Your website, social media channels, or promotional platforms must not contain any material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
2. Affiliate Tracking Links and Cookies
2.1. Implementation Requirements: Upon acceptance, you will be provided with unique referral tracking links. The Partner must integrate and fully operate the tracking Links on their approved Site exactly as instructed by Fontfabric. Links must be kept fully operational during the complete Term of this Agreement.
2.2. Tracking Failure: If a Partner fails to properly implement, maintain, or update their unique Links, or if a Customer has configured their browser to block tracking technologies, those specific transactions cannot be identified. Fontfabric owes no Commission whatsoever for unidentifiable or untracked transactions.
2.3. Authorised URLs: Partners must explicitly declare to use the specific URLs provided in the Affiliate Program Platform. Transactions generated from unapproved websites may be ignored, and associated Commissions can be entirely withheld.
2.4. Cookie / Window Period: When a prospective customer clicks on the Affiliate Link, a cookie will be placed on their browser to track the referral. The tracking cookie remains active for a period of thirty (30) days from the initial click. If the customer makes a qualifying purchase on the Fontfabric website within this 30-day window, the purchase will be credited to your account, provided it is the customer’s last click before purchasing.
3. Commissions and Qualifying Sales
3.1. Commission Rate: You will earn a 10% commission on the net sale amount of еvery qualifying purchase made through your Affiliate Link.
3.2. Net Sale Amount: Commissions are calculated based on the actual price paid by the customer, excluding any localized taxes (e.g., VAT, Sales Tax), shipping costs, transaction fees, chargebacks, and any applied discounts, promotions or coupon codes.
3.3. Qualifying Sales: Commissions are only earned on successfully completed, paid, and non-refunded retail transactions on the Fontfabric website. Purchases of gift cards or specific enterprise/custom licensing packages may be excluded from the Program at Fontfabric’s sole discretion.
3.4. Strict Abuse and Self-Referral Prohibitions: Partners are strictly prohibited from using the Program as a mechanism for self-referrals. You may not earn Commissions on digital font purchases made by yourself, your direct organization, your employees, or your contractors. Any attempts to manipulate links using emails or payment methods tied directly to your account will trigger immediate termination and immediate forfeiture of all accrued commissions.
4. Payouts and Thresholds
4.1. Payout Frequency: Commissions will be reviewed and paid out on a bi-monthly schedule (specifically the 1st and 15th of each month) from the Affiliate Dashboard after the 30-day holding period passes.
4.2. Holding Period: To account for customer refunds and chargebacks, commissions will be held for a locking period of thirty (30) days before becoming eligible for payout.
4.3. Minimum Payout Threshold: The minimum earnings required to trigger a payout are $20 (USD).
4.4. Payment Methods: Payments will be distributed through the primary payment methods supported on our website affiliate portal (PayPal and Stripe). Partners are responsible for any transaction or processing fees levied by their chosen payment provider.
4.5. Sanctions and Withholding: We reserve the absolute right to completely withhold payments if the billing address, bank account, IP address, or trading office of the Partner is found inside a country subject to international sanctions in any instance where Fontfabric is exposed to potential risk.
4.6 Dormant Accounts and Maintenance Fees: If a Partner account fails to track any Commissions for a consecutive period of 12 months, and the Partner fails to self-bill or pull down their existing funds within that time frame, the account will be classified as a Dormant Account. Fontfabric reserves the right to charge an administrative fee (10% of the total outstanding balance monthly) for maintaining these stagnant records.
5. Promotional Guidelines and Restrictions
As a partner representing the Fontfabric brand, you agree to adhere to the following promotional rules:
5.1. Paid Search / PPC Advertising: You are strictly prohibited from bidding on “Fontfabric” or any variations, misspellings, or combinations thereof as well as the names of the font software offered by Fontfabric in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns on search engines (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads). You may not direct link PPC ads to Fontfabric.com using your Affiliate Link.
5.2. Coupon and Discount Sites: You may not list your Affiliate Links on coupon, deal, or discount-aggregator websites unless explicitly authorized in writing by Fontfabric.
5.3. Spam and Automated Posting: You must not engage in spamming, bulk emailing, automated forum postings, or any form of unsolicited advertising.
5.4. Domain and Identity Mimicry: You may not register domain names, social media profiles, application titles, or business entities containing “Fontfabric” or any confusingly similar names. Your public site layout must never mirror, impersonate, or copy the exact look and feel of Fontfabric’s official digital domains.
5.5. Forced Clicks & Cookie Stuffing: You must not engage in cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or implement pop-ups and scripts that mask referring URLs or store tracking cookies on a user’s machine without their full knowledge and good-faith intent.
5.6. IP and Trademarks: You may use Fontfabric’s logos, banners, and promotional materials provided in the Affiliate dashboard solely for the purpose of promoting Fontfabric. You may not modify these assets without prior consent.
5.7. Technology Abuse: You cannot reverse engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble, or attempt to derive the underlying source code of Fontfabric’s software, typefaces, or platform mechanisms.
6. Legal Compliance and Disclosures
6.1. FTC/Regulatory Compliance: You must clearly and conspicuously disclose the affiliate relationship by integrating an Affiliate Badge on any webpage, blog post, or social media post where an Affiliate Link is shared. (e.g., utilizing hashtags like #Ad, #Affiliate, or explicit statements like “I earn a commission from purchases made through this link.”).
6.2. Data Protection (GDPR/CCPA): You must comply with all applicable data protection laws and maintain a comprehensive privacy policy on your website that informs users about tracking mechanisms (including affiliate cookies).
7. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
7.1 IP Ownership Preservation
Except for the limited commercial promotional licenses granted within this section, this contract does not transfer any interest, title, or ownership rights in any Intellectual Property of either party to the other. Fontfabric retains complete ownership of its platforms, font software, assets, and branding marks.
7.2 Mutual Trademark Licensing
7.2.1. Grant to Partner: Fontfabric grants the Partner a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to display our branding marks and badges solely to execute campaigns under this program. You must not alter the marks or use them in any disparaging, misleading, or unauthorized manner.
7.2.2. Grant to Fontfabric: The Partner grants Fontfabric a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display their company marks and logos for marketing and administrative purposes connected to the affiliate framework.
8. Reversals, Returns, and Chargebacks
8.1. If a customer requests a refund, initiates a credit card chargeback, or if a transaction is flagged as fraudulent within the 30-day post-purchase window, any pending commission earned on that sale will be reversed and deducted from your affiliate balance.
9. Term and Termination
9.1. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice (email notice is acceptable), submitted at least fifteen (15) days prior to the effective date of termination. Following cancellation, all eligible outstanding commissions will be disbursed in accordance with the terms of this Agreement until the account balance is fully settled at $0.
9.2. Fontfabric reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Program immediately and forfeit any accrued, unpaid commissions if you breach any term of this Agreement, engage in fraudulent activity, breaches data privacy laws, or undergoes bankruptcy proceedings, or harm the reputation of Fontfabric.
9.3. Consequence of Material Breach Termination: If this Agreement is terminated specifically due to a Partner’s violation of conduct or platform restrictions, the Partner immediately forfeits all rights to any accrued, outstanding, or unearned Commissions.
9.4. Operational Suspension: Fontfabric reserves the right to temporarily suspend services, disable operational tracking Links, or halt campaign access if we suspect a Partner is engaging in fraudulent behaviors. Fontfabric is relieved of all financial payment obligations during any such investigation or suspension window.
9.5. Intellectual Property Post-Termination: Upon effective termination of this Agreement, the Partner shall immediately cease all use of and remove any branding marks, referral links, and promotional materials from their Approved Sites, and provide verification that all proprietary assets have been deleted.
10. Limitation of Liability
9.1. Fontfabric will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising in connection with this Agreement or the Program, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10.2. Fontfabric makes no express or implied warranties regarding the Program or the products sold on Fontfabric.com. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of our website or affiliate tracking systems.
11. Modifications to the Agreement
11.1. Fontfabric reserves the right to modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement (including commission rates, payout thresholds, and cookie windows) at any time.
11.2. Notice of any changes will be given by posting a new agreement on the website or via email. Continued participation in the Program after such modifications constitutes your binding acceptance of the changes.
12. Governing Law
12.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
