Born in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, Maria began her education at a high school focused on art and design. She then went on to study graphic design at New Bulgarian University.
Career Path
Maria began her career as a graphic designer at an international studio before joining the foundry as a co-founder. In early 2009, she co-founded Fontfabric. Her first major project was helping with the design of Zag.

Maria contributed to the design of the Zag typeface and was responsible for the presentation of Noveu.
