Averta was born from the clarity of early European grotesques and the charm of Anglo‑American gothics. Designed by Kostas Bartsokas in 2015 and published by Fontfabric/Intelligent Design, Averta balances geometric rigor with humanist warmth, making it direct, approachable, and always on point. Its Cyrillic script even earned a Granshan Award in 2017.
